FAQ

Questions we hear every day.

How much subsidy can I get under PM Surya Ghar?

Under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, homeowners get ₹30,000 per kW for the first 2 kW and ₹18,000 for the third kW, up to ₹78,000 for systems of 3 kW and above. Housing societies get ₹18,000 per kW for common facilities. Renergeticx files the subsidy application for you and tracks it until the amount is credited to your bank account.

Does solar work during the monsoon or on cloudy days?

Yes. Panels generate less on cloudy days, but they still produce power from diffused sunlight. Because net metering balances your units over the billing cycle, sunny months make up for the monsoon and your annual savings stay on track.

What maintenance do solar panels need?

Panels have no moving parts. They only need cleaning with plain water every two to three weeks to remove dust, and an annual check of wiring and the inverter. Renergeticx offers maintenance plans and remote monitoring so performance issues are caught early.

Do you install solar outside Surat?

Yes. Renergeticx is headquartered in Surat and takes up residential, industrial and ground-mounted solar projects across Gujarat and beyond. Share your location in the consultation inquiry and our team will get in touch.

What is net metering?

Net metering is a bi-directional meter installed by your electricity distribution company (DISCOM). Units your panels export to the grid are subtracted from the units you import, so you are billed only for the net consumption. Renergeticx handles the net-metering application and installation.
